Starting today, SpyderScripts is no longer accepting refunds for any script which has been downloaded or e-mailed to your address. Refunds for pro scripts will only be honored if you have not yet recieved the script(s).
We came to this decisson after many fraudulent requests for refunds once the pro scripts were sent their way claiming they never recieved them.
Remember, all pro scripts are e-mailed to your PayPal e-mail address.

SpyderScripts has done its spring cleaning a little late this year. Today our team has finished merging the site to a brand look. We hope everyone enjoys the new look and faster loading pages. There could be a few pages we missed so if you find a link not working or a template malfunction, please let us know by posting the the chatterbox or using our contact form.
Today we retired some scripts from our archives. Why do some scripts enter our Script Graveyard? Once a script becomes old enough to collect cyber dust and fails to recieve enough attention from our surfers, we remove it from rotation. This allows us to focus more on new scripts that everyone is looking for and updating those scripts you're still using.
The Script Graveyard has made a permanent home for
- Script 14, HTML Validator
- Script 19, Banner Rotator

A new script was released today and can be found in the archives. The new Image Downloader makes it easy for anyone to download thousands of pictures instantly.
We were just notified this past week that SpyderScripts is now one of the top 450,000 used web sites on the planet and are growing at a pace of 350% each week. This means we are one of the TOP programming web sites in the world. After all these years, SpyderScripts is still kicking strong.
We thank you all for your support.

It has been a while since we updated the news section of SpyderScripts. Today we have launched a new script that can be found in the archives. The Perl Proxy Web Loader is a tool every webmaster should have in his or her toolkit.
There are a number of scripts in the making and due to the amount of client work SpyderScripts has had lately, it is taking longer than expected to get more released out there. At this point, we feel the new release of the Chatterbox will not be available this year. Our goals are now towards helping web masters achieve more functionality through their web sites so SpyderScripts will be releasing many Perl CGI scripts to help businesses grow.
There are two SEO scripts that are to be released in the near future. Our aim is to create the largest Perl CGI web site submission script at the lowest price imaginable. Along with this, the most advanced keyword density and analysis script ever to hit the web will be released.
We are approximately 65% done with the keyword density script and approximately 20% complete with the website submission script.
Stay tuned or contact us for more information. Creating these scripts are very costly and we strive on donations for providing free and lowest-cost Perl scripts online. If you can donate, we appreciate any offers on the donate page. There are other ways to help us financially throughout the web site.

The SpyderScripts development team has reviewed the progess of the last two years and decided it is in the best interest of us, as well as our script users, to make a few changes in the site and how it operates.
When founded, our main goal was not to create revenue but to enrich web sites from around the world by offering professional and ad-free scripts and by offering a library of Perl tutorials. In the past 12 months our development costs have increased and funds by private donors and advertisements have not been able to keep up. Because of this, SpyderScripts will be introducing a few needed changes.
The changes include:
- The CGI scripts will now have a small text-link on the bottom. This will help support SpyderScripts by promoting our resources when our scripts are used. The advertisements will not be intrusive and will be considerably less noticable than scripts found elsewhere.
- The free scripts will still be developed as requested and as time allows but the SpyderScripts development team will now put focus on the development of PRO scripts. In the making is a complete eCommerce shopping cart solution which is expected to be released few weeks.
- At a meeting, an idea was brought up about installing a donation tree. Each free script would be pending release until a set donation level is reached. This level would be made public along with the current status so users would be encouraged to donate to the costs of development, support and hosting.
These plans will be put into effect in the middle of December and have a full launch by the start of the new year.
Thank you for supporting us over the past 6 years, we look forward to providing more scripts and tutorials for everyone to enjoy.

Site and script development has been on pause during the summer. Pro scripts were still available along with script installations and custom coding projects.
There is some GOOD news! There are new scripts in development that will be ready in the next few weeks.
- Users Online script
- New chatterbox release
Along with new scripts, a few new changes are expected for SpyderScripts.com. Although 90% of all scripts will be free and ad-free, there are a number of Pro scripts in the making as well.
After much consideration, we are planning on builing a members section.
Keep checking back for more updates.
